There are SO many businesses out there that needed skilled copywriters and were happy to pay very well for services.

There are VERY few writers that are out there who actually know how to create conversion through writing. They could write… but not in a way that provided a clear ROI for their client.

When you structure your business well, selling doesn't have to be a constant effort. My clients not only signed with me but re-signed asking me to increase their packages over and over again.

Copywriting allowed me to serve others with my work. I was able to work for amazing companies that wanted to better the world.

Here’s the thing.

So many people have asked me how I built my copywriting business,

and here are three things I focused on as I worked toward building a copywriting business.

#1 I focused on learning how to write in a way that supports sales because that's what led to clients wanting to hire me again and again.

In my experience, that was a big part of what separated writers who struggled to find work from those who built a steady copywriting business.

#2 I focused on was learning how to leverage AI, using tools like ChatGPT to my advantage.

What I see on the field is that AI hasn't replaced copywriters. If anything, it's created more content online that sounds similar, which has made companies more interested in hiring copywriters who use AI as a tool, rather than relying on it entirely.

#3 I learned organic marketing, so I wasn't relying on sites like Upwork and Fiverr, where rates can often be lower than what a copywriter's work is worth.

How to Get Certified

A portfolio is submitted for review (usually around month 3 or 4).

From there, it either passes, or there's a 2-week window to resubmit based on the feedback provided.

The program itself lasts 4 months.

There is no additional cost for the CERTIFICATION IT IS PART OF THE PROGRAM.

*The portfolio must be submitted within the 4-month container, and there are two chances to pass.

FAQ

What If I’m from another country around the world like the UK, Canada or Malaysia?

This program is designed to apply globally. The copywriting techniques and strategies taught don't change from country to country. Whether based in the U.S., London, Canada, Indonesia, or anywhere else, students join from around the world.

How much time does this take? I’m at 9 to 5, studying, or am a busy mom.

Most of our clients are working a 9-to-5 or studying, and a lot of them are also moms, so this program was built with busy Muslim women in mind.

I personally matched my 9-to-5 salary while still working my 9-to-5, and my focus in this program is on teaching the time-efficient approach I used to do that.

The lessons are broken down in a digestible way, so even with just 20 minutes in the morning, it's possible to get through a lesson.

I recommend setting aside at least 4 hours a week for the program (some students need more, some less. This is just the average I see). Some clients don't touch the program for 2–3 weeks and then dedicate an entire weekend to it. How the schedule looks can vary from person to person within the 4-month program.

What exactly is copywriting?

Copywriting is writing for companies to help them promote and/or sell their services. Think of any ads, social media post, email newsletter you are getting in your inbox; that is typically written by a copywriter.

What if I don’t want to show up on social media?

That’s totally okay. I break down different methods to get clients. One of them is social media based and the other isn’t (we use email), and you get to choose which you want to use. (Neither of them require you to show your face online).

What if I’m not a great writer?

Being a great writer actually has nothing to do with being able to be a great copywriter, what matters is understanding how to create sales through your writing.

What if English isn’t my first language?

It's totally okay if English isn't your first language, as long as you're able to read and write in English fluently. Some students in the program have learned copywriting through the course and then gone on to offer their services in their native language, which can be a great option! (Just a note: copy reviews are only available in English and French.)
